Rear-end brake lines.
« on: February 28, 2012 - 12:57:35 AM »
I ordered new brake lines for the rear-end of my 70 Challenger. They fit correctly except that they don't meet at the right place on my housing. I replaced the rear-end many years ago with what I was told an e-body housing but the vent/breather is in a different location. Year-One said that it may be a 74 housing where the breather is in a different location but they don't know for sure. I was hoping someone here might have an idea. The attached picture should be worth the 1000 words.

Clearly the breather is in the wrong spot on my housing. Now the task of identifying what mine is so I can get the proper lines. The Year One guy suggested the original paint marks but mine has been powder coated and that's not really an option anymore.
