Headers that fit with Firm Feel Set-Up
« on: February 28, 2012 - 02:54:32 PM »
I have a 71 Challenger with a 440/727 and had Idler Arm/Pitman Arm and fast ratio steering installed from Firm Feel (California).  Their website lists header-brands that do and don't fit; after making some calls I am leaning towards buying Hedman headers (part #78038).  Does anyone out there have the same set-up and, if so, what headers did you choose and did they fit without having to take a hammer to the headers, etc?

I got the non coated hedmans for 180.00. I cut and rerouted a section on 3 tubes, to give me perfect clearance.A muffler shop will have scrap tubing for real cheap. I had them ceramic coated locally for 250.00. Perfect fit perfect look.

Thanks for the response; I am waiting for a call-back from TTI, the tech there wants to look into it more and he is going to get back to me.
