Hello-

I need to get the correct finish/color for the following:

Items #1 -> #9 I understand are black, just need to know if flat/satin/glossy
1.  water pump pulley
2.  balancer pulley
3.  triangle bracket used to mount the alternator
4.  K Frame
5.  Mater cyclinder/Power Brake Booster
6.  Radiator assembly
7.  Horn/bracket assemblies
8.  Dana Rear Housing
9.  Shocks

These I need the color -or- finish for (CAD/black phosphate etc...)
10.  Battery hold down hooking rods.
11.  Shock mounting washer (upper)
12.  Long bolt for alternator
13.  Shock mounting plates on rear
14.  Rear end brake backing plates
15.  U Bolts
16.  Front sway bar
17.  steering knuckles
18.  caliper mounting brackets
19.  lower ball joint assemblies
20.  Upper Control Arms

I want to be sure I get these items all correctly done.

I know this is a big list - and I REALLY appreciate any input...    :)

Thank you in advance ----

1.  water pump pulley...50% gloss
2.  balancer pulley...50% gloss
3.  triangle bracket used to mount the alternator...dipped in 50% gloss
4.  K Frame...had mine powder coated an 80% gloss and it looks about right
5.  Mater cyclinder/Power Brake Booster....Completely assembled THEN painted gloss black(1970 only)
6.  Radiator assembly...gloss black
7.  Horn/bracket assemblies...dipped in gloss black
8.  Dana Rear Housing...probably a semi gloss...80%
9.  Shocks...50% gloss

These I need the color -or- finish for (CAD/black phosphate etc...)
10.  Battery hold down hooking rods....phosphate
11.  Shock mounting washer (upper)...clear zinc
12.  Long bolt for alternator...phosphate
13.  Shock mounting plates on rear...natural unpainted
14.  Rear end brake backing plates...some type of coating like phosphate but some were bare metal
15.  U Bolts...natural but a little darker due to forging process I think
16.  Front sway bar...some were black and some were bare metal...they are darker due to the forging process so some may confuse that as being painted black
17.  steering knuckles...bare metal
18.  caliper mounting brackets...bare metal
19.  lower ball joint assemblies...bare metal
20.  Upper Control Arms...bare metal

The gloss black paint that was used by the factory was very cheap.  It didn't have that high gloss like we are used to today.  An 80% gloss might be as glossy as parts got back then.

Nice !! I needs to change some stuff ! When I was looking at the new challenger in the showroom I noticed some details like unpainted brake parts, the more things change the more they stay the same. I thought it was cool to see some rust on a new car in the showroom done the same as they used to.

Although my car is no where near an OE level restoration, I am trying to refinish things in there proper finishes.  I'm using Eastwoods Extreme Chassis black for the brackets and pulleys.  It's a nice semi-gloss color.  I also painted my power steering box with it.  The PS boxes had a little less gloss then the K-members and that's the look you get with the Chassis black.

Look into buying some RPM from ECS Automotive to protect the bare metal parts from rusting.
