Gas gauge wire route thru the trunk
« on: March 06, 2012 - 09:13:25 PM »
Does anybody have a picture of their challenger's trunk, where the gas gauge wire goes thru the pan? Mine (73) has new trunk pans, and I think I might need to drill a hole?

I'll take a picture for you of that spot as well as the trunk light hole.  That part of my trunk floor is original.

The blue wire on the right is the sending unit wire. So it's pretty much right above it.

Here's mine from inside the trunk (74)

It's the blue wire.  The thing that looks like a wire next to it isn't....that's where the wire used to lay before I swapped the rear harness.

The center of the hole is 10" to the left of the spare tire bracket.
