FINALLY Pics of my 70 Cuda
« on: March 19, 2012 - 07:50:01 PM »
Well I finally got it.  I had to do a few minor things to it over the weekend but.....I normally don't get turn key cars, (well this was not turn key when it arrived) but it now gives me time to really do what I want to it and still be able to enjoy it this year

Pretty. Will it be a street'n'strip car?

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.

I am getting the cage certified tomorrow so hopefully there are no major additions.  I really want to see what she can do. I have my thoughts but we'll see.  I won't be a hard core racer but once in awhile too have some fun.

The cage got certified no problem last night so now I can move forward.  I still need to fix a few items, the horn, gas gauge, and speedometer but I think I can get it inspected while in the process then I'll take her out.  As for the track I still need to get a window net that is current and a current certified safety harness then we are really good to go.
