Found a Challenger that has a vin that is 217 cars after mine.

just wondering how many they pumped out in a day and there must have been a challenger side and a cuda side. And how did the v.o.n  (vehicle order numbers run? Just curious. :clueless:

There is a huge amount of info at that link.  You can spend hours there.

Basically, cars were NOT built in VIN sequence.  All cars were given an SPD(scheduled production date)  That was the day the factory "hoped" to build the car.  That didn't happen most of the time.  Cars were built before and after the SPD.  Sometimes weeks before or after.

There wasn't a Challenger line and a separate Cuda line.  They were all built together.
