    Quarter glass weatherseal

    does any one know how to replace the weatherseal on the glass. i took out the out and i got new from year one. it is being a pain in the butt to slide the new in. does the chrome come off to make it easier or what?? any tricks??  :swear:

    no tricks I can think of , I think they are different for 70 like most parts , mine had two tangs at the bottom retaining the seal , slid into place & locked in with the tabs , not sure on later years

    I used clear adhesive on the back side channel so it wouldn't slide up and down like the original, and a screw to hold it at the bottom helps.
