    owner's manual

    does somebody know a good owner's manual that i could buy with great procedure for removal inspection and replace.. wiring diagram maybe..a book or dvd's would make it.

    its for a 74 challenger

    You can find FSM's on ebay in original cover or on cd nowadays.

    Sorry, Factory Service Manual. There are two in a set,chassis and body. Very descriptive with lots of pictures

    1974 had a Body manual and a chassis manual.  I recommend you get both.  You can also pick up a parts manual.  The parts manual contains a lot of exploded drawings and (obviously) part numbers which can be very handy when you are holding a piece in your hand and can't remember exactly where you removed it from.

    CD versions are a lot cheaper than dead tree versions

    Look into amazon if you want the "dead tree" version.
