Oh, that one?  She is currently sitting in my secret underground garage, along with a HEMI Superbird, a 71 440-6 GTX, a 68 HEMI Barracuda fastback, a 69 Mustang Boss 429, a 70 Coronet R/T ragtop, and a 71 HEMI Superbee.  Oh, an all cars are #s matching, and fully restored.

I know it`s a little overdone `80`s style but I kinda like the color combo.I wish I had pics of my buddys old `70 Mach 1 he bought around `79 or `80.The previuos owner did one of those mail order custom paint courses and used the car as a test board. It was white and covered in custom graphics- flake,pearls,fades,swirls-you name it every panel had some different effect. We called it the circus car `till he got sick of us giving him craap and primered it!  :dogpile:

Are those Centerline wheels? They look period correct. I'd think Cragars, Keystones would look good on that car also. Any other ideas?

Just somebodys cast aluminum clones   American racing maybe?

Those lace and panel paint jobs were real common in the mid 70s. The chopper industry started it - Molly's paint in SoCal did tons of that work for AEE and it dribbled over into the car world. I remember lots of guys having those paints on the cars. I spent my money on go fast parts. Friend had a 69.5 6bbl runner in hemi orange and one weekend it showed up gold and glod/burgandy/candy apple panelling and lacework. I almost cried.

I have a few magazines from old 70's Custom Car shows.  I'll try and dig them out and scan some pics of Mopars and post them.  Lots of over the top paint jobs.
