Hello everyone! from Canada
« on: April 02, 2012 - 01:39:38 AM »
 :canada:
I finally did it, I finally joined.  I'm a year and a half into my project and just getting around to this now!  Sad I know but what I have done is made two trips to Baton Rouge, LA along the way stopping at Stephans Performance, very tragic, very cool!  I hauled home two trailer loads of Cuda parts home and hillarious border crossings ensued.  This particular Cuda is a BS code '73 Cuda with black exterior, white interior, tint, rallye gauges, rear sway bar.  I have the numbers matching 340 and auto trans, the build sheet and the original posi 3.23:1 rear end.  I've yet to find a decent grille, bumpers or gauges but thats mostly because I spend all my time burning MIG wire and fabbing patch pieces.  This is, however a true Canadian car, been loved by road salt all its life.  I've replaced three full framerails and used a cutout to repair the fourth.  In coming monthes I will be delving into side projects like the seats and doors and may need help as I didn't buy anything assembled!

Good luck to everyone on their projects, talk soon!

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.
