Someone in Mopar Alley or Mid Pen might know about this.

All I know is that the Cuda had left a car show earlier before getting wrecked.

And here's the article

Two Hopsitalized after Car Strikes Pole, SJ Restaurant
Witness said the driver and passenger lucky to be alive.

A Plymouth crashed into a restaurant in San Jose's Willow Glen on Lincoln Ave. Sunday.

Two people were taken to the hospital Sunday for non-life-threatening injuries after their car struck a pole and crashed into a Willow Glen restaurant according to San Jose police.

Officer Jose Garcia said that witnesses across the street at Willow Den Bar in the 800 block of Lincoln Ave., said the driver and passenger of the 1970 Plymoth 2-door had just left a car show at Jake’s Pizza.

Bar owners Hans Heller told NBC Bay Area that he couldn't believe anyone survived the crash after he saw the damage to the car.

Nothing on the speed, but based on the damage I would say it was probably excessive for the streets. Another dumb move totals an e-body. At least the occupants got out of it alive, although, I'll have to admit the witness that said he "couldn't believe anyone survived" was being a bit dramatic. Damage to the car is pretty extensive, but the passenger compartment is completely intact. Windshield is even intact, so I'm guessing the occupants were seatbelted properly. At least they did that part right.

Another one that actually got his taken away the hard way..When are idiots gonna learn that when leaving a car show, there are cars at the show that would most likely blow your sh*tinto the weeds. Why oh why does every now and then, some idiot try and impress people with their ride leaving a show?

Definitely a shame.  I don't know if it's the same car, but we've talked to the owner of a FC7 Cuda at a couple of shows, the last one being the Mopar Alley show at Ohlone.  He's a real nice guy and put the whole car together himself (if it is actually the car I'm thinking of).  Here's a picture of it from the 2009 Livermore show.  There's no way of knowing, but the crashed car had painted mirrors and dark center caps like shown here.

On the wrecked car, you can see a six pack air cleaner 23 seconds into the video.

I was at a car show a couple of weeks ago and I am still a little protective of my car because I have not had it back on the road for a long time.  I waited around for about 30 minutes for the rest of the cars to kind of clear out before I left.  I would say that about 1/4 of the cars did some kind of burn-out on the way out of the show.  There where at least half a dozen "civilian" cars that where just driving by, gun there engines or spin their tires, showing off for the car show folks.  There where even two guys in a car club that I belong to went across to another parking lot and spun some donuts after the show.  Those guys where 50-60 years old.  I could not believe the childish behavior.  That is what all leads up to accidents like this one.
