Rallye dash with new AB&E wiring kit
« on: April 17, 2012 - 06:24:58 PM »
when to fire up my car for the first time and everything was working great but the dash!!!!  :swear: Now it seems like i have no power to it for some reason. the lights for the turn signals work but my tach, fuel, temp, and alternator reads nothing. Does anyone have any ideas or similar problems? is there a ground i need to attatch to the cluster?

It isn't a grounding problem. The gauges get their ground just by being screwed in to the dash frame.

I'm concerned because the tach, gets it's power from a different source than the cluster of fuel/temp/oil. The Amp meter either works or it doesn't. Did these gauges work before you re-wired the car?

not sure if they were working before hand or not.. is there a way to test the instrument cluster? and yeah i have a street fire ignition system in it. is that where your power from the tach comes from??
