    At the factory, where the bodies (color) painted before or after the drive train was installed?  :clueless:

    this is before mixed.. i got 2 gal of just paint not reduced yet to paint my whole car on the outside. thats not including the bottom. thanks valances hood, trunk lid, fenders, and the body of the car

    Summit racing has acrylic uerathane for $71 a gal. and the activator for $19. A friend of mine just painted his 70 challenger inside out and under, with 3 gals of limegreen.

    How many Gallons if you don't need to paint the underside and the roof (because of vinyl roof installed)?

    Are you leaving the top on or are you replacing it with a new one?  If the top if off, I'd still completely paint underneith it.

      :iagree: You need some paint underneath the vinyl. Primer alone doesn't get it.

    Just a paint job for when it's time to redo it. Vinyl Roof is new and fine.

    So how much paint just for the 2 doors, hood, fenders, quarters, front and rear valence, etc.
    Car is already painted underneath.
