HOW FUNNY IS THIS?!?!

I realize it's a day late and a dollar short to help you any, but after reading the enjoyable Viper article in June's Car and Driver magazine which appeared in my mailbox just today, I see this article:

http://www.caranddriver.com/comparisons/2012-fiat-500-abarth-vs-mini-john-cooper-works-comparison-tests

Hah!  Haven't read it yet, so I have no idea what it says.  :)

Thanks, I read the article.  We purchased the basic Mini Cooper, not an S or higher.  But I also test drove the basic Fiat 500.  The article had more praise for the Mini Cooper, and I think they hit the nail on the head.

I would have given the Fiat more consideration if they had a dealership that was within easy reach.  But even then I think I would have leaned toward the Mini.

Wow man...  That's uh, that's being pretty blatant...  I guess now's not a good time to mention that the new Challengers are built in Canada, eh...?

And you know Fiat isn't an American brand, right?  The only reason they partnered with Chrysler was so that they could build and sell their cars using American manufacturing and distribution networks in exchange for technology and platforms.  The Fiat 500 is really no more American than the Honda Civic...  And by the way the Mini is built in the United Kingdom, so I'm not really sure how that makes it the "right car" in your argument...

But thumbs up to another person blaming the Government for absolutely everything!  They're probably the reason your toast got burnt this morning too, right?!   :2thumbs:
