Took the Cuda out today
« on: February 12, 2005 - 05:06:34 PM »
Man, does it sound great.  Joe thinks it is a little on the loud side, but I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!  It is perfect!  There is a huge power difference and I can't believe how sweet it feels.  She really wants to go.   :burnout:  I was worried about the steering with the smaller wheel I put on but it steered even better than it used to with the new wheel.  I couldn't be happier....until I got home.  I opened the hood to find that my fancy valve cover bolts loosened up and oil spewed all over my BRAND NEW FREAKIN HEADERS!!!!!!!!   :stomp:      :fire:   :burn:   :puke:   :pissed:   :madvibe:  I am letting it cool now and I will go and see if I can get the stains out in a few minutes.  I sure hope it comes out.  If not, there is nothing I can do about it so I might as well focus on how great that ride was.

Nice! Sounds like you had a blast! I plan on doing what you did today, rippin the car around tommrow!Today I yanked the motor out of my dads challenger and took it down to bare block. It had a few spun rod bearings and deff. needs a bore.  Everything is loaded up ready to head to the machine shop Monday mornin.  Got a nice build for it planned!

My Hookers are ceramic coated like I think your TTI`s are and I was told to use Mothers (or other brand) aluminum wheel polish to clean them up and it works goodworks good.Just be carefull not to polish them too many times or the coating may get thin.Sounds like it runs good!I`m getting real itchy to drive mine again, this winter crap stays around way too long!!  :pissed:

Glad you got to have some fun, and sorry to hear about the oil. I hope it cleans up.   I had my car out for a short drive yesterday also and can't wait for the weather to break....

Burpin feels for ya and will drive his cuda many times for your lack of being able too, for some unknown reason it doesnt snow down here in these parts of Texas.

Burpin can you move Texas up to Michigan for a little while???  We don't need the great lakes all year long so I think it'll fit!!    :dogpile:

Thats an interesting thought, Burpin tinks it can be done cause if Dallas can move to Tennessee then why cant ye move Texas to the great lakes. Lets do it.
