Just removed the front and rear window revel mouldings form my 71 E Body:  And found out the previuos owner had just calked the mouldings in place :eek7::   Not one revel clip or its mounting pin were found!

So...... :clueless:...........Since the body mounted revel pins  (the ones that were supposed to be on the car itself) are no longer there for the actual revel moulding clips to clip onto........

I understand there is a fix that looks almost like a self tapping screw that has the proper head that will snap onto the revel moulding clips..Anyone have a source that they could recommend?

If your car is painted already Roseville auto sells the screw in stud type that holds the clips.
If it's not painted yet, the right way is to use the stud gun welding rivet tool.

There's one tip made exclusively to weld on the rivets that hold the clips.

the clip kit in the picture is for the rear window, the metal tabs are the spacers that screw to the deck filler to support the glass when installing.
