1974 Challenger 360
« on: April 24, 2012 - 10:29:12 AM »
Hey all,

My name is Matt Leslie from woodstock, ontario. :canada:
I am 21 years old and just bought a 1974 Dodge Challenger soft top 360 cu in. He was selling it for $7900 and I bought it for $5000. Its in running condition and the body is pretty good on it. The front frame rail is rusted but everything else is sound. Hope I learn a lot and can't wait to start working on this car.

Check out my pics.

Welcome aboard.  The level of knowledge here is terrific and the many experts are generous in their help.  I've overhauled a few engines and done basic engine bolt-ons in the past, but around here that puts my skill set at about the kindergarten level compared to the experts...

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I will be starting the project this summer slowly. Im still in college till august and don't have a lot of time between studies, job and this. I don't pick it up till friday, but I will definetly need a new drivers door. Also the dashboard vinyl and door vinyl are faded. Any idea's of how to restore/ where to get new looking stuff?

Thanks,
Matt

Welcome to the site Matt. I'm down the road in Cambridge and also own a 74 360 Challenger. If a door skin would do the job, I've got either side AMD skins. I bought complete doors after buying the skins. Let me know if you're interested, as I go by Woodstock weekly. Ian

Hey Ian, I am interested in seeing the door skins. What were you looking to get out of them?
