Ordered new wheels need help 19/20 rushforths
« on: May 07, 2012 - 01:11:12 AM »
Hey guys, I ordered some new wheels from http://www.rushforthwheels.com/ . This is my 3rd pair. I'm getting some 19x8 front and 20x10 rear. I have also ordered some wilwood 6 piston fronts and 4 pistons rear. I'm new to Cuda or challengers, I'm a gm guy (though I own a new SRT8 challenger and 2006 coupe viper.. So don't know how gm I have been lately) I have a 1975 trans am and a 1966 GTO. Anyways, I need help with back spacing, I'm planning on 245 front, and 285 rear, I'm thinking 4.5 front bs, but not real sure on rear. The suspension is new on my 1972 Cuda, but not after market, I do want to drop it 1 inch but that's another story

Thanks

Kevin

Hey Kevin - What Rushforth wheels did you decide on.  I love the quality of his wheels.  By the way - post up some photos of your cars.  Sounds like you have some iron.

I'd start with "0" offset front and rear ,then use 3" ARP rear wheel studs and a .25 spacer on rear will probably do fine.
