caliper bolts/pins
« on: May 09, 2012 - 12:21:22 PM »
Rockauto's website says the H5017 caliper pins are correct for 73-74 Challenger.  Autozone's website says those pins won't fit.  Who's correct?  I can get them cheaper from Autozone.

Also, the websites I've looked at say the Moog K3180 LCA bumpers don't fit a Challenger.  They are listed for A-bodies.  Are these the same for E-bodies or are the A-body pieces smaller?

Not sure on the part numbers but there are two different length shoulders being sold which affect the anti rattle clip install.

I think the H5017 pins should work fine, could not find pins listed for a '73 at Autozone but all the rest of the caliper related hardware have the same part numbers, for example the rubber bushings the pins go through.
My OE pins have an extra long shank with no anti-rattle hardware.

No anti rattle hardware on mine either.  My original pins have two wear grooves on each one from the pads.  I don't want to reuse them.  The pads will get caught in those grooves for sure.

Anyone know about the LCA bumpers?  They are listed for A-body and not E-body but Dave at Roseville said those were the correct #.

It's funny how they don't list them as being for E-bodies.  I have some coming...thanks.

The anti rattle clips hold the rubber bushings in place also.
