i'm going to start installing some sound deadener. i looked through some current projects that guys are doing and most of you cover everything and then cut the holes for bolts after such as seats, door panels, body plugs ect.  does this cause any problems with things not fitting right? i'm worried that things like door panels won't ''snap'' on the way they should due to the extra material. i'm also concerned that some things might tend to loosen off after time after this stuff compresses.  am i way off here?

ive been working on the sound deadener and i must say i find this stuff really hard to make a nice fit. i told the wife if i ever say im going to sound deaden another car to shoot me. in hindsight i would have went with the spray on stuff.

sorry about the lousy pics, i guess i'll start useing my camera instead of phone.

The sound deadener installs a lot easier if you warm it up.  Either set it out in the sun for a while or hit it with a heat gun (carefully!).  It's a lot more flexible like that.  Of course it was 40*F outside when I installed mine so heat was required :)
