70 cuda front turn signal lens tape

Does someone know the width of the black vinyl tape on the front turn signal lens on the 70 cuda?

It's 2 7/8. I peeled one off of one of my turn signal and saved it. I replaced it with some black tape that was narrower and just overlapped it.

I went to a shop for retail signs. They can sell you a piece of high quality material. Doesn't shrink, can take some chemicals, UV resistant, good adhesion. Still looks good after 6 years.

3M makes a double sticky black foam tape.

This should give an idea until a better pic can be posted. You should be able to see the "tape" with the hood opened. It's on the top rear of the signal lights.

It is on the edge of the plastic and lines up with the cast housing. Goes down on the sides. Same on both sides.

Probably a blackout. Would look strange if light light would seep through the hood gap. And when the hood is open also.
