I've been working on a 1971 Dodge Challenger restoration for the past two years and I've decided it's time to part with it. I just had my second child and priorities have changed. I'd love to keep the car, but I've decided that I really just need to sell it. The restoration is not complete, but the body is complete, exterior and engine compartment stripped down to bare metal and received the whole nine yards with base coat, clear coat, and wet sanding. The interior and trunk area and undercarriage were in great shape and not required to be stripped. The paint color is Chrysler B5 blue. It is a very high quality paint job done by a professional in the local area. The car is sitting on a rolling chassis and the suspension has been entirely rebuilt front and rear. New +1” leaf springs from ESPO Springs’n Things with new rubber bushings in the rear and a rebuilt 3.55 limited slip differential in a refurbished housing. Rear drums have been completely rebuilt with all new hardware. The front K-frame seams have been welded and the steering box mount is boxed in to strengthen the K-frame and tighten up the steering. All new bushings up front (some rubber and some poly where appropriate), new Firm Feel 1” torsion bars, 1-1/8” front sway bar, adjustable strut rods, heavy duty tie rods, tubular upper control arms, and reinforced lower control arms (not Firm Feel) with new bushings. New 14” SSBC disc brakes up front with manual brakes. New stainless steel brake lines and fuel lines from Inline Tube. I have several NOS parts including the extremely rare 1971 grill and headlight bezels. I have many pictures from the restoration process and receipts from the material used during the paint and body work. This car is in excellent condition!! I'm selling my entire E-body collection with this car. Asking $17,000. E-mail Steve at
