Any math guys out there? 60 foot time vs 0-60 mph time?
« on: September 15, 2012 - 11:47:48 PM »
I got the old rust bucket going pretty good for a fat old street car. I'm in the 12.30's for the quarter mile. I'm amazed and very pleased to be there.
My last runs had 60 foot times of 1.75 and 1.79, what would that equate to in 0 to 60 mph time?
Thanks to the guys that can do real math!

There are s slew of calculators out on the interwebs but you need more information, at least the weight of the car. The more accurate the better. From weight and ET, you can calculate HP. You can start building the numbers you need until you get the one you want by plugging in your various results to the appropriate calc or equation. So, if you have either the accurate HP of the engine, or the accurate weight of the car, we can start to figure this out I think.  :chatting:
