Hopefully someone out there can help me out with this problem. I just Installed Subframe Connectors (Comp. Eng, weld-in) on my 73 Cuda. The problem that I am having is where the front of the leaf springs connect to the subframe connector, the stock bolt is too fat and too short to use in the hole provided by the new subframe connector, meaning that I need a longer, thinner bolt? The next problem is that with the bushing in the front of the leaf spring, the old bushing is going to allow the front of the leaf spring to slide side to side in its spot. I'm guessing I need a new bushing that is wider and has a special knot in the middle to not allow the front of the leaf spring to slide side to side? The only two things I can think of is that ethier jegs sent me the wrong type of subframe connectors (like for a chevy or ford) or I need to switch out to Super Stock Springs? Do the Super Stock springs require a longer, thinner bolt? Hopefully this story makes alittle since.
Thanks for the Advice, Phoenix.
