Help me Decode my car!!
« on: June 12, 2012 - 02:44:36 AM »
So I finally decoded my fender tag tonight by using stockmopar.com and most all has lined up with what I currently have and at the end I'll post it up to make sure I'm not missing anything. But what's really confusing me is according to there break down the paint ID is unavailable. I know it's hard to get it 100% accurate and I've read that over the years people have often painted them the high impact colors.... But I want to see about going back to the original color. But it's no we're to be found, it's currently got a darker version of the plum crazy but I have found on the Internet that they didn't offer plum crazy during that year..... Any help or shove in the right direction would be awesome!!

I believe that was a new in 1973 color.  Not sure if it was available in 1974 as well.

Ok, so it's gone threw a few paint jobs then.... I know of 3 to date then.... Thanks guys!! I'm hoping to get it back to a somewhat original exterior/interior. Go for a solid drivetrain. Leave the rest close to original as I can get it.
