OK, had the engine out all winter, so I had the power steering pump off and laying on the bench. During the course of things, I'm sure at some point the steering wheel got turned without the pump attached, because I recall power steering fluid being squirted all over my floor. Now that things are all reassembled, I noticed more leaking on the floor. If I raise the front wheels and turn the steering wheel (engine off), fluid belches out from under the cap. Also, when running, the power steering assist is greatly reduced/very stiff. I'm guessing something may be our of place/stuck in the steering gear???
