On my 73, I had the windshield replaced, as mine was cracked, and my back glass reinstalled. I called an auto glass place and they came to my house and did it on the car, pretty cheap too...if you could find that, I would recommend it- cause it might not be much more than buying a new glass and putting it in yourself. As far as the moulding clips go, there should be little round screw head looking things around the windshield that the clips slide on to. When they did the windows on my challenger there was no rubber gasket, front or back. Just a sealer. Looked like something you would use on a roof...just glues in there. After that, I put some new clips on those little round studs. Make sure all the studs are there, cause if they're not, you will want to fix that before you put a new windshield in. If they are, put your windshield in, then put your clips on, and then the molding. At least, thats how I did mine. Works fine
