calipers
« on: July 23, 2012 - 10:04:14 PM »
One of my stock calipers is siezed. Both are the original 73 calipers. I'm planning on buying two replacements. Does Wilwood or whatever make a caliper that is better than stock and not too difficult to fit?  :dunno:

To my knowledge most aftermarket kits use the Drum brake spindle not the disc one to attach adapters too . Check out Scarebird

I converted my front disc brake Cuda (70) to wilwood 4 piston disc breaks. It was one of the easiest jobs ive ever done.

Doesn't Mancini have an adapter kit for this?

No I did everything up front.  I had disc breaks and put on the willwood kit. I think I kept the stock spindle but I can't remember now.

Kit was calipers, brackets, and rotors, hardware. I added braided steel lines and upgraded my master cylinder as well just for good measure.
