    crane ignition box and a pro comp distr compatable?

    I have a crane fireball ign box and a msd knockoff pro comp distributor. my engine guy said that these might not work together. any vailidity to that claim?

    not sure but it should , the hall effect of the dist should be read by the Crane ign

    the distributor is a HEI unit. would that confuse the box? does it need a different pickup?

    the signal the dist creates is similar no matter what the make so it should work
