When i start my new 408 I get lifter clatter for about 2 seconds before the oil pressure shoots up. Is that normal?

usually , the valves that are open when shut off will bleed down so it takes a few seconds for the oil pressure to reach them & pump them back up with hyd cams

Great. After my dyno tune, it runs like a champ. My temp problem is now gone. Except for the vapor lock. any suggestions on a vented gas cap?
