Hemi Stock Fuel Line Routing
« on: August 07, 2012 - 05:44:19 PM »
I am trying to figure out the correct stock fuel line routing for a 1971 Hemi, I have seen it done in a bunch of different ways it seems.

But from what I can tell the stock configuration would be a Vapor Seperator between the pump and the Tee. Then a seperate filter after the Tee for each carb. Is this correct?

Thanks will work for 440 too! I was thinking it was something like that! I got all the crimps and line both 3/8 and 15/16.

That does help, thanks. So is their no fuel filter at all on your set-up then? Just the vapor seperator.

What confuses me is I have an assembly diagram that shows it just like you have it. Then I have a parts book that shows filters between the tee and carbs.

64'-67' Hemi's had the inline filters. After that year, they didn't.

Got ya, so much for a "correct" parts book then.

Seem really strange to run with no filter at all, I might have to sneak one in back by the tank of something.
