Engine harness Black wire with yellow tracer.

I know as Cooter says chuck the orange box as far into a lake as I can throw it!!,...but I have the Year One 1970 440 wiring harness for a Cuda 440 with the electronic ECU,.. My Question is Does this black wire with the yellow tracer go to the Neg on the coil, or is it for something else like a electric choke on a carb?  1970 book was helpful but not clear and the ECU diagram did not help either. Gonna try and get her fired up for the 1st time over the next few days. Wish me Luck

Seems to me that the black with tracer goes to the negative side.  Then the brown goes to the p+ side.  I think I have a green wire running to the n- side for my tach also.   I will check and let you know tomorrow if nobody else replies!

That is correct , black to neg , blue or brown to positive , grey is the tach feed

I have read what others have said about it but have not looked into it myself, looks like I got some homework to do and it sounded alot better from what other forum members were saying. Going to fork out the dough on the brewers clutch position switch this AM did not find one at the swap events, New parking light lenses on the way. Gonna start putting in the rest of the exhaust tomorrow.
