Does anyone know which x-stream setup would be best for a 340 stroked to 416 with an Edelbrock Performer 750 CFM on an Edelbrock Air-Gap manifold under a Cuda rallye hood in a 74 Cuda?
I currently have the Mopar Performance air cleaner with a Purolator A50084 filter element. The element is 11" ID and 12 and 3/4" OD, and it's 2 and 3/4" high. It BARELY fits under the hood between the scoops, but it doesn't hit.
The K&N part number for the element only that fits my Mopar Performance air cleaner assembly is E-1530.
I have tried to figure it out, but I'm sure some of you guys know it right away. I want it black, not chrome because I have the Mopar Performance valve covers. Plus the engine is blue and the car is black.
I also have the Mancini bracket for the Air-Gap manifold, so I don't know if a dropped assembly will interfere with the bracket or the carb linkage. OK, I'm officially lost and asking for directions. Please help.
