    RPM SB intake

    Does this intake have the cross overs that help with cold starts? If so, how do you block them?

    The RPM does , the RPM air gap does not , so if you have not bought it yet buy the air gap .
     If already have the intake you either need a thin piece of stainless steel or cut a section out of the old intake gasket if it is a steel lined one & silicone a patch into the new gasket e

    I bought the regular rpm Manifold right before the air gaps came out! I was pissed that they didn't get it out a couple months sooner!  :banghead:

    Some metal valley treys for the big blocks have block off plates for the cross over. Mine hasn't burned up a hole through it yet so I think it's safe to say that as long as its a good quality metal piece it'll do ok for blocking it off.

    Sorry if yours is a big block , the 1214 for B engines & the 1215 for RB will work
