Radiator Replacement
« on: October 03, 2019 - 09:36:40 PM »
This winter I want to do some detail work in the engine bay on the 70 Cuda, so it at least matches the rest of car, which is all original and in really good shape.  While the previous owner kept everything original almost to a fault (ie U-joints, shocks, etc.), he got rid of the original radiator and I just hate looking at the shiny aluminum one.  Before someone suggests that I just scuff it and paint it black, is there anywhere that an original-looking black old-school radiator can be purchased?  There is a chance that a local radiator shop can put something together, but I don't know what the original specs were on what came on these cars, so if anyone knows what that is, let me know.

Car has a 383 w/automatic transmission.

Thanks

Looks like a 26" is what was original.
Original # 2998958 for 383-2.
Original # 2998961 for 383-4.

Thanks!, I went to YearOne, but missed the Reproduction Radiator section entirely.  I think I can find something between these two sources.
