Lean Idle..Yes LEAN, any tuning tips.
« on: August 17, 2012 - 11:19:45 AM »
I recnetly installed a O2 meter in my cuda in the hopes of getignt he right info to cure my rich idle condition.

I fired the car up tonight and here is my reading at idle in D...

I think I am a little lean at idle.

I think I will start by closing the secondarie a bit (I opened them because I was trying to lean it out).

From there I think it is tweaking the idle mixture screws and richening it up.

Any other suggestions.

I can't wait to take a drive and check the rest of the fuel curve.

Let the hardcore tuning begin!!!!

Two ways to alter idle , open the idle mix screw or reduce the size of the air bleed on the idle circuit
