It is stuck into the end of the skinny rocker trim, And I can't remember if I tapped it out to the rear or I lifted the trim. I did paint this 28 yrs ago. Now the slicks need the extra room. The Gill is cast and the screws are out and it's hanging on. I will stay logged in until I get help, thank you.

I guess I'm the only one who has a 1968 Cuda with the cast Aluminum Alloy Chrome rear Gills? They must be worth $500 for the pair, if no one has them.

TA DA!! It taps frontward with a door wood shim on the edge, so as not to deform the edge. The bastard did not move last nite, but just now it was 1/8" forward, so I knew to tap lightly until the BLIND screw was revealed. Never put in blind screws again! I think now, that WD-40 might have helped or liquid soap. F-en A! that was annoying and as always, glad to ***** about somthin. Pictures in an hour, really!
