PROTOURING CHALLENGER
« on: May 11, 2010 - 06:05:51 AM »
HI

Now I will follow up on my intro..

The car is about ready to some sand blasting only waiting on some sub frame connectors to be welded on,they should be on it's way home from XV. And then start to assemble the car with a new roof, quarters, doors, fenders, hood, deck lid,and a new 70' tail light panel. I have all ready done some of the rust on the car such as, both innerfenders, rocker panels, wheelhouses, floor, trunk floor, and transformed the tunnel to manual gears, im going for a 5speed tko 600.
I'l be making the rear suspension myself and maybe a new k-frame becourse a RMS is $ 4000, but when it comes to denmark it costs about $7000 with all the danish tax and shipping  :swear:
And fore the engine I'l go for a 340 and stroke it and put on a procharger or some turbos. I will put willwood in all 4 corners, and some Rushforth Troopers or Rated-x.
The car will be painted snake skin green.

I got Jason Rushforth do me some designs, I think it's going too be very cool looking, only have some rough drafts. Will post them up later.

This is how it looks now..

Looks like great build! look forward to the progess. I feel for all the guys ( and love the dedication ) who build a Mopar so far from home. It's bad here. The chevy guys always look shocked when I tell them how much I paid for a part, and thats here in the states!

Finally making some progress, the build have been standing still for a while.
I decided that I wanted some big tires, so the stock wheel houses needed too be wider, so now I am in the progress of building new ones.
pic will follow.
