K member question
« on: September 24, 2012 - 09:23:40 AM »
I have a 73 Challenger and a 71 Charger. Both originally had small blocks, thus they have the small block K members. I plan on putting 440's into both. Do I have to have the big block K member, or will the 440 match up with the small block K member? What is the difference between the two? Just trying to educate myself before I head down a wrong path. Thanks!

the K frame is the same for all V8s except the Hemi so all you need is the engine mount , there were difference to the K frame as the Hp engines have skid plates to protect the deeper oil pan , the skid plate can be welded on to any V8 k though
