The headlight switch has Terminal one is vertical, two is vertical, three is horizontal, four is horizontal. Top and bottom pins work for headlights and I would assume the middle pin and bottom pin would activate the parking lights. Alas it does not.

Ugh. It's mighty strange that you have 2 light switches acting the same way. Let's verify something. I'm assuming I'm looking at the back of the switch in the upright position in the shop manual. Terminal 1 and 2 are horizontal pins. Terminal 4 is horizontal and 5 is vertical. How does it look on your end?

Thank you for that!!   :wave:    The picture in my shop manual does indeed show things upside down.   :screwy:

The top and pin 2 activate the dimmer, the top and pin 3 are your parking lights.  So there are only 4 terminals and not 5 right? That means my memory is worse than I thought, and the picture in my shop manual makes it look like 5 terminals too.    :banghead:
