Wire harness need to change or not?

71Challenger going from a 318 to a 440, do I need to change the wire harness

That's an obvious yes. The distributor wires are in the back on LA blocks and the B/RB blocks are in front.
You could splice/crimp to lengthen and whatever others need that too. But why bother?

 the wire to the coil ,  temp sensor & the alt wiring needs to be extended also
 Not hard to extend the wires using solder & heat shrink though if the harness is in good condition

I replaced everything except the dash wiring harness.
1970 Cuda Clone 440 4 speed - sublime green
1970 Cuda 383 4 speed - yellow - SOLD
