I pulled by front brakes apart today on my 71 Challenger to replace a seriously grooved rotor. One of the Kelsey-Hayes single piston calipers needs help. The bushings had worked their way out of the adaptor, the positoners are trash, the bleed screw is mangled, and I can't get the pins loose (whats the trick?). Looks like the previous owner put in new pads and left a seriously groved roter and worn out caliper...can you believe it??? What is the best way to deal with fixing calipers? Are rebuild calipers available at the local Autozone, CarQuest, etc? Can you get rebuild kits? What's the best thing to do with this K-H caliper? Thanks for your help.
