440 build questions
« on: April 23, 2015 - 05:10:00 AM »
Hi,
This is my first 440 build I am using what came with the car to reduce the cost as much as possible, I'm not out to make huge power as I have other toys for that one being a blown alcohol altered.
But I'd like it to sound tuff my block is .040 I have the 452 heads which I have spent quiet a few hours on porting shaping the chambers etc, going with the probe SRS series pistons which will zero up the deck and will give be around 10:1 I also have a set of iron crane adjustable rockers.... I am thinking of running a edelbrock performer rpm manifold, and a holley 830 annular I have already, has any one ever ran one of the comp cams thumpr series cam shafts?? I'd like to hear what you guys have tried. Thanks

Welcome
To me the Thumper is all the sound without the power , I would look the Lunati Voodoo series cams over the Thumper series   :2cents:

I'm having a 440 stroker built and decided on the lunati voodoo 60312 hydraulic roller based on a lot of recommendations from members on here
