Anyone decode this number Please???

On a 4 speed shifter, guy said it came out of a 70 cuda??? 3917993 or another shifter  820245F   How do you guys decode these so I can do it myself? Thanks, Tyler

virtually all Hurst shifters will interchange , the levers are different though , do you have pix ?

the levers in th eshifter assy are different offset from each other & different length , the long handle B body shifters had the longest lever to shorten the shift , the rest can be interchaged with some slight tweaking

If I got a B-body shifter with an E-body handle, how would that work for shortnening up the throw?
