Hurricane Sandy car damge toll continues to rise....
« on: November 08, 2012 - 09:34:00 PM »
I wonder if the cars that were totalled by the insurance companies will somehow get resold with a salvage title or something?  Thinking about the flood dameged cars.  I wonder how it'll work?

I think many new cars at the docks at NJ may have gotten totaled...  :dunno:

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

That article says that they will be scraping the vehicles.

I've always wondered what happens to all the classic cars from these types of events.
