Hello Has anybody Painted their AAR hood and, rear tailpanel, spoiler, louvers and grill anything else besides flat black, and if so what did you go with. Thanks

Were the AAR's just flat black, or were they painted with that organisol?

AAR and T/A hoods were painted with organisol. It was used in a few other places on E-bodies too.

Cuda tail panels
72 Challenger Rallye tail panels
72-74 standard Challengers around the tail lights

I don't think the spoilers were organisol but don't quote me on that.

Organisol is a lacquer paint. It created a texture to the matte finish.
The EPA has banned spraying lacquer paint. Duh, the new paints with its harders, dryers and other additives are more harmful than lacquer.
The paint was only used on the hood.
The grille, tail panel, and spoiler is a satin black.

The tail panels are organisol too.

Bringing this one back from the dead guys. I too am curious to see an example of a AAR hood painted other than organisol black. Maybe never done? or just no examples due to the

effect?
