This is what it looks like to put a clutch in a Triumph TR6 ...if this doesn't make working on Mopars look sane then your in trouble ...LOL
First thing ...Gut the whole interior then yank tranny out from under dash

actually thats easy its dead center on the firewall ...lol actually the tranny isnt that bad except they fasten it to the engine with bolts and nuts (fine thread) about every 2 inches all the way around the block and it sux trying to hold the bolt to spin the nut off (my arms just wont reach 1/2 way around the car)

And to think there are some people out there who think Triumph's are the best thing since sliced bread! :ack:

I don't get it.

You have to go through the interior of the car to remove the tranny??  That's just not right!  :banghead:

I like old british sports cars ...they have a character of their own, and these tr6 run well for a big inline 6 .... but the best part is that in my area no one specializes in them anymore so I have a captive clientele and at $75 an hour (bargain here for any kind of shop labor rate ) I can take my sweet time and they dont ***** and dont have much choice ....LOL  sounds evil but I'm retired so I don't even have to do them ,,,LOL

 :iagree:

I like the Tr-6's...a friend of mine had a spitfire, we pulled the motor out by taking off the hood, getting a 2x6 with a chain and pulling it out! No sweat!

I've always wanted a TR-6, and a few times I've been close to buying one, but my unfamiliarity with the cars has shyed me away from buying one. Also, my experiences with the above said spitfire and the wonderfull Lucas electric company products   :stomp:   put a little damper on my enthusiasm!

I guess if you're making money from them, that might lessen the pain...I still won't touch them, though.
