fitting new carpet
« on: November 23, 2012 - 05:18:15 AM »
I am in the process of fitting my new carpet in my challenger. It is a Auto Custom Carpet brand. Back half is in good. From other pics I have seen on other posts I am wondering if the binded back edge of the front half is too close to the back seat . Do I cut 12 inches off the very front so the binding sits in the middle  of the seat rails ?

It looks OK to me.  Just possition the heel pad where it's supposed to be.  Al long as the front half overlaps the rear you're good.

There is bend line in the heel pad.  That bend line should be possitioned where the floor pan starts angling up to the firewall.
