    Call me crazy, but I have a hard time believing that they used that BS crinkle tubing on the wiring enar the trans tunnel and those colored fittings in the trunk back in 1970?

     Your right , but most likley a SCCA  modern requirement to run in vintage racing?

    was it the cudas or the challengers that had the thin sheetmetal issue from overdoing the original acid bath?
    I would assume most of the chassis sheetmetal at least is still original.

    The re-roofing was for the #77 car... I've actually sat inside that #77 car recently at Road America for the vintage races... and you can clearly see the roof how it was cut and welded inside the car (Kenpointed that to me, too!).  I don't know if the #76 car has yet been recently sold... anyone know?
