Oil Leak
« on: July 10, 2002 - 10:27:49 PM »
I have a 70 Dodge Challenger with a 727 Auto. There is a small leak I believe is coming from the rear seal. It's not bad enought to fix right now.  Also the power stering pump has a small leak. Does anybody know of a good stop leak to try before I have to tear them down. Thanks for the help. Plum_Crazy

A tablespoon of brakefluid in the powersteering works good. It swells the rubber seals a little, same thing the stopleak does. Don't use any more than that though. I've been told it works for trannys too, but I don't have any idea how much to use in one.
